Backstage Beauty: Marc Jacobs, Rodarte, Vera Wang

Fashion Week is not only a preview of the coming seasonal collection for clothing, shoes, handbags etc. but also a time to preview the new beauty trends that influence the character of these collections. With three very different looks, designers Marc Jacobs, Rodarte, and Vera Wang showcased some striking hair and makeup trends that will be sure to sneak into our individual styles.

*Marc Jacobs brought back the eighties in his Spring 2010 Marc by Marc Jacobs’ show pairing his bright looks with bold pink lips and big bows in the hair.

*Rodarte potrayed beauty as tough and dark with the choice of bare eyes, black lips, and tribal tattoos.

*Vera Wang showed a more soft and balanced side using big hair and barely there makeup as a compliment to delicate dresses and sparkly accessories.
