Renee from blog Beauty Fool recently wrote about Operation Beautiful, a website which encourages women to engage in small random acts of kindness in order to promote the idea that all people have inherent beauty.
The premise of the movement is to post supportive notes in public for either friends or complete strangers. Particularly touching are the messages left in random places like public restrooms and between magazine pages in hospital waiting rooms — signs that, despite modern society’s tendency to look the other way when thousands are in pain, there are still people who care enough to leave a smile on a stranger’s face.
If you would like to contribute to the Operation Beautiful website, email a photo of your note to Caitlin at seebriderun@gmail.com.
