Whether incidents are stage, organized, or happen spontaneously, they all go toward making things for difficult for the TSA thugs. We’ve given up enough freedoms to avoid “profiling”. The government needs to recognise the enemy consists of Islamic terrorists and that’s about all. Non-Islamic terrorists constitute an insignificant percentage of terrorists. Until the US government acknowledges the truth, we will continue to give up our liberty in the pursuit of a dubious concept of “safety”. Don’t be sheep.

I agree about TSA agents probably not wanting to do “enhanced” pat downs any more than anyone wants to receive them. Still not sure about how much safer they make the flying public. As I mentioned in the post, the powder explosive substance used in the attempted Christmas Day bombing wouldn’t have set off metal detectors, and none of the demo photos show the full body scanners picking up non-metal substances. As for the extra thorough screenings, I’m not convinced that TSA agents are suddenly so well versed in anatomy that they’d be able to tell the difference between genitalia and a convincingly sewn package (no pun intended) of explosive powder. For countries where drug smuggling is a problem, people have been known to shove the drugs into various body parts. What if the next wannabe terrorist decides to go that route? The type of search that would catch that is normally reserved for prisoners, and the type of medical grade x-ray that would detect it wouldn’t be practical at a mass level.

Again, the best security really is to be aware. If someone around you is acting suspiciously, seems nervous, is acting strange – keeping an eye on them, reporting the problem and in some cases being ready to intervene has done more to stop attempted attacks (shoe bomber, Times Square, Christmas Day) than any airport screening.

Flying on a plane is not a RIGHT enumerated in the Constitution. If one wants to fly, they must submit to searches which are NOT unreasonable. TSA employees are not ogling scans or giving out hand jobs in the screening line. They are trying to keep us safe. Shame on anyone who can’t embrace that idea.

Every time the terrorists come up with a new way to get around security, all the rest of us pay the price. Catch the terrorists and leave the rest of us to enjoy travel. There are other way to detect most any terrorist substance, haven’t they heard of dogs that can sniff out these types of things. I’ld rather a dog sniff my crotch than have some pervert grope me or ogle my image in a back room with his or her hands down their pants or risk cancer from xrays. The rest of the world only pays lip service to the US. Nothing that has been done so far at airports will prevent the terrorists getting around security.

So yeah he gives them a hard time and expects to be treated like some kind of king. Screw this guy,]]> This guy is a huge D!$K *censored* he planned the whole thing, he purposely made it so they would check him,
Firstly why did he leave his phone recording, almost like he anticipated getting checked,
also in the beginning of the video you can hear the TSA officer say something about taking off his shoes. I don’t know how many of you have flown recently but everyone takes off his shoes, I mean your shoes are usually off before you even get close to the metal detectors.
