The Plastic Surgery Music Video Aimed at the Deaf and Blind

Celebrity images are inescapable, and brands have long counted on the appeal of those celebrities to sell products to fans hoping to be like the stars they admire, if only through a lipstick or beverage of choice. For some people, getting the same haircut, or wearing the same clothes isn’t enough, and more extreme measures are taken.

Such was the case for Toby Sheldon, who wanted to look like Justin Bieber (comments have suggested the result was closer to the character Butthead, from Beavis & Butthead); Kitty Jay, who spent $25,000 to look like Jennifer Lawrence; and Venus D’Lite, a contestant on RuPaul’s Drag Race who wanted to look like Madonna. D’Lite seems to be the only one who made it anywhere close to the intended look. They recently teamed up as a group called The Plastics, and released a music video. Lil Kim was apparently unavailable due to musical maternity leave, but seems like an ideal choice for a future cameo.

The song, which is as difficult to listen to as the faces of the group are to look at, claims “everyone can be beautiful when you’re made of plastic.” Beauty apparently looks different while under anesthesia.

You’ve been warned about the visuals, but should you wish to inflict your ears with the same cringe-worthy experience, the full video is below.
