As fashion fads come and go few, people look to see what remains of an industry or a town that was once thriving from the fashion whims of the world. Gloverville, NY named after its booming industry of glove production in the 1950s, is now home to the last glove couturier in America. Daniel Storto lives a quiet life perfecting his craft with passion and curiosity. From the gloves Madonna wore during the MTV kiss with Britney Spears, to the knit gloves for the townspeople, he is simply doing his job. As the last glovier it is a reminder of how fashion trends come and go leaving behind a craft almost forgotten, allowing room for someone like Mr. Storto to expand a craft already perfected.
