Avon Gets Fergalicious

Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie is the latest high-profile name to be added to Avon’s long list of celebrity fragrance endorsers.

When compared to previous celebrity collaborators like Jennifer Hudson and Reese Witherspoon, Fergie may seem like an odd choice — but Avon sees in her a confident, vibrant, successful woman who has the power to inspire others to be fearless, strong, and sure of themselves.

The Avon brand stresses the importance of female self-awareness, and although we realize Fergie (and all the other celebrity names) have been brought on primarily to increase profit margins, we’re willing to take any positive messages we can get.
