Amazon Can’t Touch This

If only we had all had Kindles in high school. Maybe then, after Amazon deleted our English Lit notes, we’d all be a little richer today. That’s right – a high school student was just awarded $150,000 dollars in damages after suing Amazon for eradicating 1984 from its Kindles. Now, Amazon has no rights over the works you’ve downloaded in your Kindle – to the benefit of Kindle readers, perhaps, but much to the disappointment of all those high-schoolers  in need of a killer excuse for not doing their homework.
