Thumbs Down for Facebook

If you’ve ever picked up a Facebook friend who proceeded to share too many updates on their Mafia Wars status, or recent Farmville acquisitions and you wanted to let them know, your options until now have been limited.

But now, there’s an app for that. Okay, technically it’s a plugin for Firefox, but the phrase seemed fitting.

Your indication of dislike will only show up if your friend has the plugin installed, so the most annoying status updaters may never get the message. It is, however, a thumb in the right direction.
