Fashion Abstinence Comes To An End?

Despite the still-recovering economy and the international emphasis on frugality, some are bidding adieu to the stifling sensibility of the past year and, to deal with their blues, are diving back into full-blown therapy — retail therapy, that is.

Although no one in his or her right mind (or, at least, no one outside the upper class) is willing to go back to rampant pre-crash consumerism, it might be alright to loosen the grip on the checkbook just a little bit.  Of course it’s necessary to stay smart and live within one’s means, but remember that fashion is about fun and that everyone deserves nice things once in a while.

Not to mention, we’re sure there are plenty of unemployed retail workers who’d be happy to have a reason to get back to work.
