Opening ceremony :Where the Wild Things Are

Opening Ceremony is now selling its line of jewelry and clothing for men and women in collaboration with Spike Jones,  based on the book and motion picture Where the Wild Things Are. Though some of it may come across a little costumy (the adult sized Max onesie which Max dons throughout the story) there are some pieces that translate well. The Judith outdoor reversible vest of long haired faux fur and flat rosette textured faux fur with a cascading collar is one of those pieces. The men’s Douglas Bomber featuring a detachable fur collar, large front flap pockets and hidden pockets is another example of the wearability of this line. But what really caught our attention was the feather cuff bracelet available in Brass and silver and the single claw necklace available in gunmetal. The line is a little whimiscal with some solid pieces of interest.
