Runway diversity

London may be a step ahead when it comes to diversity in the age, size and skin tone of its models. While Milan sent models packing a few seasons back in a ban of ultra-skinny models, London is taking it to the next level. While we cant escape the waifs that have become the staple- designers such as Mark Fast cast average sized models creating a bit of a fuss among his staff and PPQ had all black models, most unusual was the 70 year old model that graced the Sykes catwalk . This is a change that is slow to come but will give a much desired spot to the healthy woman in fashion.
