Retailers are constantly reinventing themselves and their products to keep up with the times. L.L. Bean is no exception: the almost 100-year old company reached into the archives to update some of their classics to better fit more modern styles. Slated for a much-anticipated release this March, the collection will cover menswear, womenswear, accessories and footwear. L.L. Bean is known for their durability, and from the preview we have seen, we’re confident loyal L.L. Bean customers will approve. Denim, sweats and old fashioned Americana influenced clothes making a comeback on Spring runways (think Ralph Lauren and Alexander Wang for denim and sweats respectively) coupled with more brands touting heritage as a selling point to attack tepid consumer sentiment could make for a successful combination to bring new attention to the brand.
