Influential fashion photographer Irving Penn died Wednesday morning in his home in Manhattan. Penn was known for his keen eye for photography and often shot his subjects in isolation to capture their true natures. His rare take on ‘beauty’ set him apart as an artist and he is widely recognized for shooting various covers of Vogue.
