It was all glitz, glam, and glory on the streets of London. OK, not all the streets, but definitely where it counted. FNO launched at Burberry with guests like Claudia Schiffer, Daisy Lowe, and even Britain’s First Lady, Sarah Brown, walking the carpet. Dozens more fashionistas were spotted, but that was to be expected. Despite the appeal of standing as close as possible to the beautiful and famous in hopes of getting a bit of free PR, we moved onto Dover Street Market for the launch of PLAY, the Comme de Garçons and Converse collaboration. Hussein Chalayan and Christopher Kane made their presence known as well. Then off to Browns where Henry Holland and Jonathan Saunders got down and dirty as they played ‘shop assistants’. All in all, it seemed the night was a success. The crème de la crème of fashion society were out in full force and it seemed a success for shoppers as well. With 20% discounts at retailers like DKNY and five-finger discounts on booze everywhere, Vogue FNO LDN was a success.
