‘Fashion’s Night Out’ didn’t bring the “Cha-Ching”

Turns out the first annual ‘Fashion’s Night Out’ was “not incredible from a business point of view,” according to  Barney’s creative director Simon Doonan. Although the night brought a great sense of excitement and vigor to the fashion community, the large adolescent crowds didn’t exactly shell out major cash.  Next year’s event will be a more “monetized experience.”
