Rebecca Minkoff’s first ready-to-wear collection, which was presented at the Metropolitan Pavilion yesterday, draws on inspiration from early Tim Burton movies and the 90’s “beauty aesthetic.” So what would such an artistic, scattered collection look like? Prison stripes, leopard prints and lots of floral complimenting a direction in pieces that are both funky and wearable.
