After close monitoring over the last three weeks of the inner workings of Conde Nast, Teen Vogue has been asked along with other unnamed publications, to make budget cuts up to 25%. It is not clear where the cuts will be made, but in a statement to the New York Observer, Conde Nast CEO Chuck Townsend says, “I can boil what I say to the editors and publishers down to the simplest statement in the world and that is: You, not me, you have the responsibility to run this business in a responsible way. It’s your responsibility. I want to see your proposal of how you’re going to do it.â€
