As fashion layouts go Girl of the Golden Field in Novembers Vogue Nippon is phenomenal. Model Daria Werbowy stands in a field beckoning the viewer to wander with her. The composition of the photography duo, Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin, with paths leading off into the distance, evokes mystery and sensuality. Styled by George Cortina, an array of bold silhouettes are showcased. When nudity comes into play it’s met with an innocence and youthful freedom, much like running in a field where no one can see her uninhibited frolicking, except we can, and it’s truly a work of art.
