Wintour-ise Your Wardrobe

Despite — or maybe because of — her role as one of the most important people in fashion, Anna Wintour admittedly doesn’t shop much, preferring to exercise her editing chops and stick to smart shopping.

If your closet is looking bloated yet completely irrelevant to your life and style (how many times a week do you bemoan your lack of anything to wear?), it may be time to pare down your treasure trove to, as Michael Kors puts it, “70 percent… meat and potatoes, 30 percent… icing and fluff.” Fashion, style, and personal needs constantly evolve, and you owe it to yourself to clean out the wardrobe, make some smart shopping decisions, and put your best foot forward.
